So I thought I’d try something different yesterday and, given the beautiful sunshine and the hot, humid heatwave conditions, try and shoot in the garden where there was at least a bit of a cooler breeze. As is often the case, no sooner did we start shooting than the clouds rolled in and the murky light made it look more like a wet weekend than a beautiful Summer’s Day in a English country garden.
Oh well, maybe we’ll try again some other time. We did get a few shots outdoors, but we did also get some amazing shots in one of the semi-derelict farm buildings which will probably be out in a book or magazine form sometime soon. Can’t wait to show them to you.
I’m hoping to get to the beach on Thursday and try and catch up on the beachwear backlog. Fingers crossed – forecast says brilliant sunshine but less heat and humidity.
Incidentally, there’s a bit of video somewhere from a shoot last year of me being pushed around this garden in a pink wheelbarrow by two other models. I really must dig that out!

Oh wait a minute, haven’t found the video yet but here’s a photo. This was from a shoot for the Discordia project last Summer and this is some of us messing about in the garden during a break…
